PC performances...

We admit: we still have our OS XP. When it is still working, why change?
Many of the PC-users (and even Apple-addicts) are using their trusted operating system
from 5 till 12 years ago.
Why: It's simple and it's stable and the developpers / users are still perfectionating their old OS.
"New" OS's are used to be for smaller devices.
We've tested Amiga Workbench (well well), Windows '98, Windows XP, Android and Windows 8 lately.
Sorry for the Apple fans, but we do not have any Apple product in our posession, so we can't say more about their OS's

And we've to say: XP (and maybe Apple OS) in combination with Mozilla Firefox is a fine OS to work with.

Because we've tested Windows 8, Internet Explorer 10 is likely daring to the Firefox as well.
Windows 8 is just a learning tool to get used of it. Because MS want to be refreshing and want to
compete with mobile devices and Android/Apple, they have created the typical tiles and MUI.
It's not bad at all to compete at the same time in three platforms/levels: mobile, gaming and home computing,
both for private customers as for professionals. Thumbs up for this aspiring job!
Of course Windows 8 is not free of little growing pains: you've to search and find and push more buttons than ever: in fact, this OS has two systems in it, because many people couldn't deal with the Modern User Interface. So they have integrated a sort of xp/windows 7 Desktop in it.
For every problem, there are solutions and you can google to the video tutorials of Win8 experts.

You know the proverb: first-come, first-served basis. Then you know MS have to come with "better guns".
That means: the Windows App-store has to be perfected and has to come with apps and games equal as his two rivals. And don't forget the older users of the windows merchandising: they have helped you build your imperium!

For those who want to keep XP and higher in good health, you can download these programs for your PC.
It's only a reference and it's for your own responsability to use it or not. Don't blame us for the damages of
