Actually, TV-serials in a box is more interesting to buy than a new release of movies.
Why?
The main reason is nostalgy, because todays movies are more developped for the fans of action, gothic (vampires, superheroes, etc...), high school & teen-comedies, dark-tinted investigations (CSI's),
but where is the time of light-hearted serials and good scripts?
In our collective memory we've such titles of:
Looney Tunes
The Flintstones
Tommy Cooper
Benny Hill
The persuaders (with Roger Moore and Tony Curtis)
Are you being served
Starsky and Hutch

The Muppet Show
Battlestar Galactica (TOS)
The Powers of Mattew Star
The Tripods
Mr Ajikko
Knight Rider
Miami Vice
The Smurfs
Allo allo
Gremlins
Back to the Future
