Het downloaden, Téléchargement, Downloading, 下载....

It's a delicate word to be explained.
Actually, we are all downloading some multi-medial information from our computer. That is what the whole Internet stands for. The backword/adjective legal or not is another question.
For almost ever picture or video embedded in this weblog, we are mentioning the source of this mediatical 'fun'. Indeed! Without pictures, videos or Java-scripts, there is no fun at all on the Internet. It's why the marketing-people are moving from their classical media to the electronically features.
Another thing is that you are downloading some video's/pictures for own amusement only. When it is a medium that has copyrights on it, it is not done to use it freely/privately. Normally spoken...

When you can buy the movie/magazines/pictures/cards.... here in Belgium, then you don't need it to download the whole thing. It is sure that the real thing is qualitative much more better than the downloaded item. If you count the extras on it, why downloading it? Because it is earlier? It makes no sense.
When it is difficult to find your preferred item(s) in Belgium, you can find it on Ebay...
When a Medium is strictly reserved for a certain continent, then you must fly over there and get it or you can make a download from the Internet. Which is not preferable, because of
- the quality
- downloading limits

Yes, in Belgium we have download-limits for each month.
Why?
We would rather say that it is because of profit-reasons for the (big) providers. When you are surpassing the limit, you will have to pay for more Gigabytes, otherwise your Internet-Connection may slow down more ore less...
Isn't it?
Slow down? Why?
Your Virus-protective software? Anti-Spy? Uploading Peer to Peer Video/music/pictures? More Wireless users for one modem?
Who knows?
Fact is that the 30.th of December will be the Day of Downloading as a protest against Download-limits in Belgium...
