Today it's "Client's Day", the day to thank our clients for their confidence in our shops, managed by independent retailers. It is organized by a Flemish retailer-organisation Unizo that cares about the rights of the little hardworking independent. Via this Flemish website, this union wants to promote se little shopkeepers, active in every sector of selling to customers. The basic thoughts of these retailers are personal service, quality and craftsmanship for these products. There is also a french version of it.
We have already mentioned before in the topics "extra service, marketing, value " that the principals of selling doesn't stop after the client had paid the article. To create customer-relations, you are forced to do more than that. Of course a little attention is not bad at all, but all THAT is purely to be called "commercializing". The whole 'beauty' of this case is that even this 'Day' is publicity for our consumer-minded society. And since publicity will sell more, we're ready to be spoiled, overconsuming, respectless against products, filled with debts etcetera...
It's why we all have to put some 'feelings' in this product by (re)calling our positive emotions, like happiness, together-we-will-make-it-ness, childhood consciousness, humorous intentions... The smile brings distant people closer to each other
