The Vatican wants to convict people who are going to prostitutes. Because of the growing amount of prostitutes each year in the world, the holy city wants to stop it.
Nothing more human is strange for the christian religion. Must we go back to the Middle Ages and burn these disloyal (wo)men(s)? For Christ sake, prostitution is the oldest profession of the world!
If we convict them, more 'customers' will be unsatisfied and there will be more sexual criminality than before. The "believers" are putting some oil in the fire without knowing it. Why? Because the society is already decadent (the media, you know? Including this...). Parents who aren't able to give MORE human values to their children.
These (wo)men who are becoming prostitutes - some are forced to do and others are blinded by "easy" money and the third group are choosing for it - are always a compensation for something: a (wo)man who doesn't get enough of sex, who wants to have a "soulmate" to talk with, who are extreme, who wants to be de-stressed, 'you name it, we do it' sounds their credo.
They are the "social assistants" of modern time. The Ying of the Yang. Young, beautiful, talented performers...
And if we look further, we all are prostitutes in the global economy. We have something to offer and the clients take it or leave it with all their senses.
If we prefer to stop the unwanted prostitution, education and information are very important. We can love worlds' pleasures, but love only can't feed the world.
