Is it a coincidence that these two countries are super-powerfull nations?
Of course not! Otherwise I don't write my B-Log in a "ANGEL"saxon language, named English.
How do they become such nations?
Simply look at the historical backgrounds:
Colonisation is the magic word for richness and other undelightfull thoughts...
- If we can conquer natural richness such as minerals, metals and nutrition materials, we all can get rich and with a smart strategy, we can rule the world. Mostly the colonies will be undeveloped regions or even countries and that is suiting us, civilized people - so they argued.
They took inspiration by these huge Spanish treasures and trades, accumulated by the conquistadors in the Golden Age era. So the conquest of the Wild West and the Far East was begun. With exploitation, slavery and repression as result...
Fortunately, 'good' colonists as the French savoir-vivres have cultivate the locals too, with a reason: they are very chauvinistic...
The USA / UK dream became reality and now they consider other countries as inferior as they are and with the same thoughts they want to conquer the Middle East.
It's a very strategic area nowadays, not because of their oil (that's a side issue) but that's the fire to burn out the Asian continent to create a new one...
We shall see...
