Pinocchio

In 1972, there was an excellent Italian 6 episodic-mini-serial, called "Le avventure di Pinocchio" from the masterly director Luigi Comencini.
What we have remembered as a kid is the dynamical music of this masterpiece and the magic-realism of the whole movie.
Each parent has to have this serial at home, because of Pinocchios' charm, this original story from the author Carlo Collodi, the high quality of performance in a very realistic scenery (with exception of the whale outside), the rural life of the 1880's (Yes, now we are spoilt with everything we have) and of course for the past generation, there is Gina Lollobrigida as the beautiful and clever fairy.
