The second Cold War?

Gorbatjov, the last president-general of the Sovjet-Union has said that a second Cold War will be created if the US will set rocket-shields in Poland, the no- so-nice 'neighbour' of Germany.
He has right...
What has the USA today?
Not many economical aces, we believe. Only oil and military head-quarters spreaded around the world. Nationally it has many problems to be solved: the hypo-crisis, clima-crisis, citizens against Iraq (financial and military) losses. Internationally the monetary-values against the EURO and thereby related 'inconveniences'.
Is it that we may be praised to be in this 'strong' Europe?
Of course not! Europe is becoming bigger and bigger with these East-European countries that is way not to be ready in the Union. They might become stronger economically, because of the multinationals, but where are the frontiers (borders) of the EU? Where they are religiously VERY different? The EURO is strong, but are all these countries too? Or will they sooner or later be separated, because of internal (read cultural-economical) struggles? It seems that the Germans want to have their nostalgic powerful Deutsche Mark back. Should we have the Berliner Wall back again? Was it not better?
We think not, because we HAVE to be shielded against the US with help of a big European Union without the betrayal of the vassal-state Poland and other 'Pro'-Americans. Maybe we have to tighten up the relations with the Russian Federation, because of their huge energy-reserves...
The US has many reasons to re-conquer the energy supplies and other knowledge's.
