If there is fire, there is smoke. People in well-fare states are never satisfied and want to have more and more. If life is getting tougher, they want to keep their luxurious life-style. It's normal. Who wants to get poor? They are afraid of poorness, but it is their lifestyle that CREATES debts. Debts that maybe can't be payed because of their pamperings...
Getting back to their luxurious island: to maintain this, they want to hold their strong purchasing power. Yes, strong, if you know that these workers have legitimate extras like 13th month, holiday money, indexed salaries (when life is expensive, their salaries will be adapted to the health-index) and will be even payed in the grey area when they have worked in overtime. It's Belgium or isn't it?
And manifestation will be the solution to have more purchasing power?
No, because each manifestation will cost money to the enterprises, government and so society and the more the manufacturers will push trough their requests, the more these syndicates (that are signing these agreements with the CEO's) are losing their influences on the working people. And that can't be good, neither for these people, neither for the companies, neither for the society itselves.
The logical result will be that multinationals are looking for other areas with uncomplicated manufacturers and laws.
It's once again our government who has to "kiss" these companies with more extra-legal advantages. But who will trust them since our own government is slightly dept in a crisis?
So the recent manifestations, legal or not, is the beginning of a chaos that only will stop if the syndicates are turning back to strong leadership-partners, like the government too...
