Auto Salon Expo Brussels

After our private removal (Our restaurant still exists in Eupen at the same place), we're ready to go for it! The removal is succeeded very fast and flexible, so now we can continue to write our blog.
In Brussels, each year there is an Auto-fair (exposition) of the newest models to be buyed by the solvable customers. This year, it is on the 17th till the 27th of January 2008.
As usually, this year, there is also a theme around the exposition, namely "The environment-friendly car".
How "environment-friendly" is that?
Well, we've now the hybrid cars with two kinds of engines in one car: the electric-generated engine for town-riding and the conventional fuel engine for longer and faster riding.
Result? Less CO2 exhaust gasses for the environment!
Pfft, if C02 is the only reason that can kill the earth... Of course they can be heating up the Earth, but killing it? The human being will always be getting used to new living conditions.
We are thinking of a bigger problem for our good environment, and that is the amount of the world population. More people, more food, more cars, more garbage,...???
When each family, consisting of four persons, has one car, one refuse-bag, one TV, one computer... then that is already a good start.
But no, everyone has at least two or more materialistic "goods", because of the selfish mentality nowadays, inspired by the global marketing boys and girls.
Let's hope for a changing of mentality first....
