The youth today... Who will understand them? They are spoiled, lazy, always influenced, immoral,...
What a generalisation!
Once again, it's normal! Even if we have well-educated dear-ones, it's not inevitable that these well-known hormones will react against us, parents. Maybe they have an impeccable childhood and still will be when they become adults, what a lucky we are then! But certainly there will be complicated times to look after: by marriage to name an example...
It's our duty to give them a responsible education. How many times we don't know how important education is? And a well-spoken education needs time!
If we say that this youth is derailed, we're very wrong.
On the contrary, they are very smart for their age: making websites, chatting, sms, at the same time studying, ... their brains and body are precocious in this fast evolutionary world.
But above-mentioned negative aspects then? Don't forget that the media will always exaggerate certain facts to sell more papers. These so-called negative facts is while the youth has to absorb so much information, that they have experienced. Their young brains has to select irrelevant things out: what's (not so) important for my lifestyle? (Grand-)Parents have to help them out with this selection or sometimes good friends will replace the parents. And tell the kids that gaining money is not so easy as it looks like: not everything is free! Learn how to gain little money to our kids and see if they're already a leader-type or a follower-type and guide them so to the big world. Only a strong character will become a leader!
If we think it is the problem of our time, then look closer at the seventies or earlier.
May 1968 for instance, the mythical student revolution against the well-formed establishment/rules. These students will be respectful politicians, engineers, salesmen etc... actually. All rich people...
So we don't have toworry about...
