The '70s and now

When we look at the 1970's and we compare these years with the actual situation(s), you can bet on it that in these 40 years, not much has changed.
The wealthy-score: people are able to live in luxus with the Home Sweet Home-feeling with many convenient plastic houshold-devices, colour TVs, Baby booms, beauty-ideals and spirit-enlarging music.
Of course the vogue-whims are not what they seem to be, but in general we can say that we're fighting for our ideals for a better world. The oil-crisis and the (Vietnam/Middle East) Wars are evidences in time.
Women were revolting for equal chances and now they are even more equal than before, but still they don't want to...The 'glass-ceiling'? Rubbish! They are satisfied with a normal job until they have children. Some are working afterwards but they don't want to achieve the same position as men do. Otherwise they are like men...
Revolutions are also in space-technology, music, mass-marketing and consuming-standards: it isn't changed much since then.

What's the difference then between the darker stylish now and the colourfull 'natural' 70's?

There are too many laws nowadays to 'moderate' people and especially connected with money, people seems to be DEpressed in their usual lifestyle. It's all too clean and sterile in this world. If you take environment for instance. Is it better if multinationals are holding into ISO and DIN norms? Would the Earth be happy with that? It is sure that a human can destruct Nature, but Nature itselves can also be destructing and her consequences are more disastrous than a Nutro-bomb!

Politics and Economics are playing a huge role in these whatsoever norms, like Kyoto, CO2 and all these other 'save the Earth'-crap. In all these particularly negative systems, Nature itselves will take revenge by cleaning up the mess humans have caused...
